Ms. Fuentes is an Associate Attorney at Ibrahim & Rao LLP. and practices in all areas of U.S. immigration and nationality law. Specifically, Ms. Fuentes has experience representing clients in removal proceedings before the U.S. Immigration Courts specializing in cancellation of removal and asylum proceedings. Ms. Fuentes is an accomplished litigator – she has eight years of litigation experience in both Federal and State Courts. During this period, she has both vigorously defended and successfully prosecuted claims against various law enforcement and state agencies.

Ms. Fuentes also has experience with preparing and submitting affirmative applications before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, including family based petitions, TPS applications and U visas.

Ms. Fuentes received her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from Emory University in 1997. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Loyola School of Law in 2000. She is a member in good standing of the Louisiana State Bar. Ms. Fuentes is a native Spanish speaker.
