DO I QUALIFY UNDER OBAMA'S NEW EXECUTIVE ACTIONS?

On November 20th, 2014, President Obama announced executive actions that you could benefit from. While specific details have not been announced, what we do know is that it will benefit the parents of US citizen and Permanent Resident children who have lived in the US since January 2010, as well as children who came to the US before age 16 and have been or are currently studying.
These regulations have NOT come into effect yet, and we do not know which forms and fees will be associated! Beware of immigration scams.

How do I change my address with USCIS?

Individuals who have an application and/or petition which has been filed with USCIS but has not yet been decided should notify USCIS of any change of address as soon as possible after moving by completing a Form AR-11.

Do I have to change my address if I am in Immigration Court removal proceedings?

Within 5 days of your move, you will need to submit either Form EOIR-33/IJ, Change of Address Form, or a EOIR-33/BIA. Click here

How do I find the status of a case I have already filed online?

You can find the status of a case that you have already filed by clicking here. You will need your application receipt number which is the 13-character number found on the upper left corner of your receipt notice and begins with three letters such as EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC. You may also call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 to speak with an immigration representative regarding your case if your case falls o utside the processing times.
